Young girl desecrated by hoodlums, murdered, abandoned A young girl named Nicaise Bessala, a student of Government High School Sangmélima in the Dja and Lobo division, has been found dead by some council workers.
She was reportedly raped and murdered by hoodlums in Sangmelima, a town in Cameroon. Her unclad body was discovered in a bush within the area as the residents have been thrown into panic and fear over the shocking incident. Cameroon Web reports that girl’s body has been deposited in a morgue in Sangmelima. Bessala’s death has evoked emotion across the country, as many have called out to the government urging them to find the hoodlums who defiled and murder the young girl. As of the time of filing this report, the Cameroonian authorities were yet to make a statement on the issue.
