– Pinnick has been told to get a spokesperson who will be the one to speak for him
The Minister of Sports, Solomon Dalung, has prsonally told president of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Amaju Pinnick, to be careful of what he says to the press.

According to africanfootball.com, Pinnick was advised to get a spokesperson who would be making statements for him in public. Dalung alleged made the comments, when he met with the NFF president, to discuss the Super Eagles’ failure to qualify for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon

A source said: “The minister is a no-nonsense person; he simply told Pinnick to watch his public utterances, saying he appears to react to everything and everybody and it appears he does not have a spokesperson, who ought to be doing the talking on his behalf.
“The minister says the frequent utterances by the NFF president have worked against his image and the way he is perceived by the public.”
Pinnick has come under intense scrutiny since he said the NFF was looking to appoint a foreign coach for the Super Eagles after the tenure’s of Sunday Oliseh and Samson Siasia.
