 At the moment, Egypt, are on top of Group G with seven points from three matches, while Nigeria are two points behind with only the overall group winners guaranteed automatic passage to Gabon 2017.

Read the match preview below; On Thursday, former captain Ahmed Musa dropped the captaincy and handed over to Chelsea’s John Mikel Obi following talks with interim coach Samson Siasia.

Nigeria and Egypt have face each other 15 times with Nigeria winning seven of those games and drawing four which means the Northern African side have won four.

The last game between this two sides came in 2010 in the Africa Cup of Nations with the Pharaohs winning 3 – 1.
This will be Siasia’s first competitive match in charge of the Super Eagles since his reappointment in late February.
